LIFEBUILDERS MINISTRIES

LB KIDS

Lifebuilders Kids is a fun and safe place for children to learn more about Jesus and how to follow Him with all their hearts, mind and strength. Our leaders are committed to valuing and developing each child’s relationship with God and others through our weekly lessons which might include songs, crafts, teaching time, sharing time, Bible reading and the use of relevant and appropriate media resources. All our Teachers and Helpers have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Cards).

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

During the school holidays, we invite the children to come and enjoy a kid-friendly movie or sit in church with their parents.

LB Youth

Lifebuilders Youth is a place where teenagers (grades 7-12) can come and learn about putting their faith into action, be spiritually energised, and make new friends.  LBYouth runs most Friday nights from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.  At youth we do activities, music nights, the occasional bonfire, plenty of yummy supper, and a time of Bible reading, sharing, and prayer.

CREATIVE ARTS

The purpose of the Lifebuilders Creative Arts Ministry is to glorify God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit above all else through music, the arts and scripture. We endeavour as a creative arts team to create an atmosphere of devotion in order to worship God in Spirit and in truth.

We value intimacy (being vulnerable and transparent before God), integrity (having a private life with God that flows out in public), inclusiveness (allowing each person to draw close to God in worship), community connection (having a presence in our local and wider area) and Kingdom expectation (an anticipation of an exchange with God through the movement of the Holy Spirit).

Our team meets together at-least monthly for biblical teaching, sharing, prayer, fellowship, and development of our technical skills. We also meet for an annual workshop where we delve into deeper skill development and spiritual teaching. Our team’s worship leaders are challenged each year with a study book and follow-up workshop. The sound and media team are expanding their knowledge base and striving to operate at a high level of quality. We have strong relationships with other local Wesleyan churches and connect with them regularly for the purpose of sharing in worship together, vocal and musical workshops and times of fellowship.

Our team has also written some worship music of our own, through this we seek to glorify God and bring people closer to Him. As well as song-writing we also meet semi-regularly for prayer throughout the year.

Further ways for our team to grow moving forward are to build on our puppetry and drama skills and also introduce other creative methods of worship: poetry… dance… anything that brings glory to God!

Above all things we long for our worship, through the creative arts, to be rooted and established in love for God and expressed in a contagious love for Him and for others.

HOUSE CHURCH

We currently have 3 House Church sites. One in Burpengary, one in Whiteside and one on ZOOM.  House Churches are where groups of people meet together regularly in an informal environment.  Dress is casual and we may sing some contemporary Christian music or hymns, we also have a time of prayer, some personal sharing, reading the Bile and discovering what it is saying and end with a meal or some morning tea, whether you are looking to grow spiritually or connect with new people or make friends we have a group for you.
